Overlay

The Overlay function on the pop-up menu allows data from different datafiles in the same directory to be overlaid for comparison purposes.

The graph output is limited to 20 data channels including the channels already drawn. The selection process cannot be limited since, until the software checks through the files, it does not know which are one, two or three channel files.

If more than 20 channels have been selected for graphing, only the first 20 will be displayed.

To Overlay Data:

1.Right mouse click on the graph to display the pop-up menu.
2.Select Overlay from the menu: the Overlay dialog box is displayed.
3.Select a data file from the list of available databases and click on the > button to move it into the Overlaid list.
4.Click on OK to apply.

To Remove Overlaid Data:

1.        Right mouse click on the graph to display the pop-up menu.
2.        Select Overlay from the menu; the Overlay dialog box is displayed.
3.        Select a data file from the list of Overlaid data files and click on the < button to remove it.

If more than one data file is overlaid, clicking on the << button will remove all of them.

4.        Click on OK to apply.

To overlay data from different time spans, use the clipboard functions.
