Networking: Installing the Software on the User's PC

The following imformation is generic but the Network Administrator may need take into account any special requirements of their system.

To Install the Program to a Network:

1.	Insert the install disk and run the Slave Install.

2.	When Installshield runs, accept all prompts.

•This will install and register the necessary OCX files on the user’s PC.

3.	Check the user’s PC has full read access to the application directory on the Server

4.	Check the user’s PC has full read/create/write access to any shared data directories.

5.	Create a desktop icon pointing to the program on the Server.
