Data can be saved to either a New datafile or an Existing datafile.

•If data is saved to an existing datafile, it can either be appended to the data already filed or it can overwrite the existing data.

•Data files have the extension  .rl8.

•Data file names can be of any length, but it is recommended that they DO NOT exceed 32 characters. Longer file names may not be printed in full.

•Data can be saved to anywhere on the hard drive, network drives or onto a removable disk.

•It is recommended that all data is saved to a dedicated folder (directory) as this makes it quicker to find and allows for quick back-ups of the data etc. The software automatically creates a default directory under the install directory called Data.
